I found an nice looking 01 F150 XL 4x4. It looks really nice by the pics and the guy says it runs nice on both natural and gas (will have inspected before shipping to me of course as you can't always trust people to be honest). It still has the tax credit available and I can have it delivered for $12,500 it has 80,000 miles on it. Any thoughts?

Lots of experience embodied in the Ford threads if you've not already browsed there... http://www.cngchat.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=32
Off the top (my only experience is a 2000 F150 CNG Bifuel)... a tune up is a major expense where you'll likely want to also replace coil packs while you're at it. CNG parts are expensive and VERY hard to come by if do run into problems running on CNG. The 5.4 is a VERY strong engine (but not particularly fuel efficient on either gas or CNG) Good luck!2008 GX (extended range, trunkless version)
