Please post your ideas here on how we can improve this community site. If you are a member of the Yahoo civicgxngv group Curtis has a thread over there for your comments too. We will try to incorporate them to make this the best one-stop source of information on the web for NGV owners.

I know there was a discussion on business cards and how it would help spread the word on this group. But just looking at the site logo I thought that it might be a good idea to get stickers made and pass those around? As far as cost the site could sell them and setup a paypal account as a form of payment? I'd proudly place one or 2 on my GX. I like the logo as it blends real well with the current CNG stickers you see now

I'll check with the guy I had that was willing to make one-off bumper stickers for us. The bumper stickers were going to run around $5, but this share would use more vinyl. I'll let you know when I reach him.

I would love to see a pricing database similar to the one at www.losangelesgasprices.com. Maybe if everyone sees the different prices we can all use the cheaper stations and force the other stations to lower their price...actually compete in the market.

I know this is more difficult because of the lack of stations, but every little bit can help!!!

http://www.cngprices.com/ is a bit painful on slower Internet connections (for example, a GPRS mobile phone connection). Perhaps we could integrate the price database at http://www.cnginfo.com/ as a text-based alternative, too?

Hi ... I run CNGPrices.com. I could set up some text-based pages for use over mobile phones. If people have some suggestions for the best way to set that up, I'd appreciate it. (i.e. Would you want pure text, or links to Google maps still in the addresses? How should I break up the areas of the country? It would be fairly trivial (I think!) to do it like I have it now, where you are just searching within XX miles of any city and state.)

Also, someone said that they hoped I would add more out-of-state stations. I added all the public stations that I found on the DOE Alternative Fuels Database. I intentionally do not include private or government-only stations since those aren't useful to most people. If people know of other sources that I can get station locations from, please let me know! I did add a few more stations in CA and NC the last couple of days due to tips from people at CNGChat (thanks!).

It would be nice if we could enter not only prices, but if the station is down. Then as you search online or with your phone you would know not to drive there.

I was wondering if it would be at all possible to get the Yahoo feeds as complete articles. Although I subscribe to the feed, I generally like reading the articles on the site more.

Hi Todd,
I looked into the RSS settings for vBulletin and can not find a way to do this. We will keep looking into it.

By the way, I was in Vegas last weekend (see my tale of woe in the Nevada forum), and eventually filled for $2.07/gge. I submitted the pricing info to your web site.

Perhaps there is a way to fake it so that the Yahoo groups sends the e-mails to an e-mail address that then automatically adds it to the group? I'm not familiar with vBulletin, so I'm probably not offering very good suggestions. =)
