Uploading an avatar

I can't seem to deselect "Do not use an avatar" on my personal CP, I tried reseting and that didn't work either. Is there something I'm missing

I wasn't sure where to post this question, not sure if we should have a section for posting questions such as this?

We had avatars turned off from the beginning, but with your request and one other I think we will go ahead and allow them. Our concern was that in observing other sites out there the avatars tend to make a much longer page scrolling exercise but anyway let's see how it goes. They are allowed now.
