Re: The Candidates' Energy Plans: A Green Car Primer
So none of them are really looking in our direction are they?
We need to write a little more as a group and get their attention.
We also need get NGV's into the news wherever you are and whenever we can so people will notice.
Nothing gets a candidates attention better than what their constiuents are paying attention to.Dave Clement

Re: The Candidates' Energy Plans: A Green Car Primer
You're right. Like the "Nova" tv show the other night, there is little light being cast upon cng. Boone Pickens is actually helping us in that respect, but of course to advance his own interests.
This is why I try and do thing's like this web site, the Yahoo groups, the Cruise-In's, AFV Expo, tv and radio whenever there's availability, and have just made connections with the car review guy at the newspaper. CNG is still the biggest and most misunderstood fuel around. That's why banding together, as we have done, is important.
You guy's in various state's should look at putting together car club's and do your own cruise-in's and local car shows. Invite the press, their eating up this type of information right now, gas prices being what they are.
We've been the silent minority for long enough. The more press we can garner, the stronger the demand becomes and the more people, like the OEM's and others, listen.
With several thousand active members, we can start to make a difference in the way the future plays out for cng... and us.
