All those who would like to discuss certain disallowed subjects concerning conversions are invited to post over at http://groups.google.com/group/cngconversions

I do not intend it to be a replacement for or to be in competition with this fine forum. I view it as a natural extension to this one for those who have a need to discuss topics outside the realm of what the use policy here will allow.

    Re: Invitation

I know, that's kinda weird about this forum. Any other forum you can talk about pretty much anything, you can learn how to make bombs on the internet and commit terrorist acts. But if we want to learn about using domestic fuels and how much cleaner they are. We are not allowed!! Some people eed to realize the end result and what we are trying to accomplish here. Just because there are some lame laws doesn't mean we shouldn't try to do better?

Can't you still shoot a man for tresspassing in some states? I think there are a bunch of old laws in Utah that would be ridiculous if they were inforced, but I cannot think of any off the top of my head, I think we should make a list of stupid laws here on this thread to prove our point. Anyone know any??

Found some, here's the utah ones:

It is against the law to fish from horseback.

It is illegal to detonate any nuclear weapon.

No one may have sex in the back of an ambulance if it is responding to an emergency call.

Boxing matches that allow biting are not allowed.

Throwing snowballs will result in a $50 fine. (provo)

        Re: Invitation

It is this type of summary judgment that led me to create the new group. There are many applications of CNG conversion where the EPA ruling does not apply and so this notion that *all* conversions that are not EPA certified are illegal is simply not founded in truth.
