For as much as I drive, I still dont see many NGVs, maybe a few a month. Today I saw 2, both in Diamond Bar, a silver Crown Vic heading west on the 60, and a lady in silver (01-05) GX south on the 57, that did not have the blue CNG sticker on it.

Some in UT have removed the GX side decals so it looks even more like a Civic LX.
Not sure why?CH

Re: SPOT a NGV here
If the fire dept has to start cutting you out of the car in an accident, not that it might ever happen. You are going to want them to know what kind of fuel is on board so they use the right precautions and tools.
Saw a dedicated Dodge Van going west on the Loop 101 last night in Phoenix, company was Ultra Rooter.Last edited by cngaz; 06-20-2008, 03:42 PM.Dave Clement

Re: SPOT a NGV here
I see a lot of CNG cars around Chino Hills DBar that are not aqmd cars. Passed 5 in one day on the freeway one was a guy in a newer civic Lic CH4 ryde and another was a Brown cng camry by the 5 and 118 in the valley with a lot of bumper stickers.
I also meet someone new almost everyday at the pump who does not know about cng prices or cng chat.

Re: SPOT a NGV here
Last night (6:30pm) I was behind a newer silver GX on the N/B 57 before the 60 split, was going 80+. I was spotted at my local station by a man who is a future GX owner from Perris. I guess he will be going out of his way for fuel to save $1.38/gge instead of fueling at the Moreno Valley station.BLUE 09 GX

Re: SPOT a NGV here
I commute from Ogden, Utah to Brigham, Utah everyday (~75 miles roundtrip). I typically see 1 - 2 NGVs a day on I-15. Most are F150s, Contours, and Cavaliers. There are few that don't have the blue diamond CNG logo on the back of the vehicle. I wish I could find the written fire code where it mentions that logo.Jared.

I suppose the unit was built before the sticker requirement came into effect?Robert '07 GX

Re: SPOT a NGV here
I actually got harassed a bit today on my drive in thru Chino on the 60. I pulled out of the HOV lane (it was moving slow) and Johnny law pulled up next to me and was showing me his fingers as to say "2 not 1". I pointed to the back of my car as to say look dummy I am in a NGV. There was a newer white GX a few cars ahead which I also pointed to. I have also noticed they are stepping up their radar traps, seen 2 this week, both times going around 75mph.BLUE 09 GX
