Want to have A new suv model named "green car of the year" ???? Just buy 10 full page ad's , maybe let the "editor " use one free for a few months , and buy a few thousand copies to send to the dealers as "Independent Research" . Not too hard for the boy's at G.M.

What he did, and he's very up front about it, is basically choose the 'Most Improved Mileage' car of the year. It isn't 'green' compared to the usual sedans, but it's a lot greener than a Hummer (for whatever that's worth).

What a ridiculous award . . . to a vehicle weighing around 5,000 lbs, still has 30 yr old massive 5.3 ltr engine, and is NOT A CAR !! There's an international blog running now from former Shell CEO saying that SUV vehicles like Tahoe should be BANNED !!! See at www.just-auto.com

I've written scathing email to GreenCar.com asking them to do 2 things:
1) add major section to their website for Natural Gas / cng
2) REVOKE the award to Tahoe and instead give to Civic GX or Prius
