CNG conversion company AFVTech Inc. is developing a dedicated CNG Hot Rod. Based on a 1933 Ford Roadster, this Hot Rod is intended to showcase the possibilities and the performance of using Natural Gas in a fun and unique way. The CNG Hot Rod. Click to enlarge. The Hot Rod...
About 10 years ago the guys at So. Cal. Speed Shop built a very futuristic looking gold CNG hot rod. I've never ben able to find pics. At the time we were the only ones that would let them fill and check the system for leaks.
Kevin, I spoke to John about you guys partaking in the Clean Cities CNG Roadshow in Utah, Az, or both. This would be a perfect showcase for this project.

As a fuel for cars, compressed natural gas hasn't exactly exploded in the US. Of all the major automakers, only Honda offers a CNG-powered car, buyers of which are eligible for a tax rebate and get a free pass on the carpool lane in most states. But proponents of CNG say the fuel that's common for buses and fleet vehicles is not only good for commuter cars, but for flamboyant customs as well.
