  • Formerly Classified Global Warming Spy Photos

The Obama administration has released more than a thousand intelligence images of Arctic ice, following a declassification request by the National Academy of Sciences. The images feature a 1m resolution, and scientists who have had to base climate models on 15m- or 30m-resolution photos are rejoicing. The photos, kept classified by the Bush administration, show the impact of global warming in the Arctic and the retreat of glaciers in Washington and Alaska.

      Nice photos of receding ice.

Are we supposed to believe (like a religion) this is being caused by us and not the activity of the Sun ?

Also a cursory check around the net didn't back up the claim that Bush or his administration kept anything from the public other than heed the advice of NASA in keeping the photos classified. Obama heeded Nasa's advice also, when they said they should be declassified, he did so.

For the record, Bush's ranch at Crawford, TX is state of the art in terms of conservation and clearly shows that unlike Al Gore, Bush "talks the talk and he walks the walk." http://www.netafimusa.net/downloads/...Bush_Ranch.pdf

I'm just upset that the ice keeps receding in my margarita as well.. makes me have to keep on refilling it... Someone really needs to do something about all this global warming.. i mean, it's getting out of control! It hasn't snowed at my house in 32 years... thats just unacceptable!

        Damn you bush!

I just can't wait 'til we get enough global warming for my house to suddenly be in the tropics... I don't see what all the fuss is about...
