  • CNG in Stimulus Bill

I understand that the Stimulus bill that was signed into law on 17th includes an increase in the infastructure credit to 50% (up from 30%) and I believe increases the cap from $30K to $50K.

Does anybody know of anything else in the Stimulus bill that helps CNG?

    Thanks!

It did raise the tax credit on installing a public station to $50,000.00 and doubled the credit for installing home fueling to $2000.00.

Any more details about this? I bought a used FM4 (3000 psi) and wanted to install it at home. What expenses are eligible for the credit? I am going to have to pay Questar to install a higher-capacity meter and an HVAC guy to reroute some piping and do the electrical. Does the cost of the used Fuelmaker qualify for the credit?

The stimulus didn't mention used, so I would bet against it. You can try though. Utah? I'm not around those parts. Some one may have state credit info for you.

the $2000 home refueling credit definitely sounds interesting... This would bring the price down to the 'convenience' level for me, especially including the California credit as well. Any idea on the effective dates of this change, and when I would be able to use it?
