These snippits from T Boone and others, just fuel the ridiculous speculation that is driving up prices, as I have yet to see any real supply & demand justification for the runup to $117/bbl for crude and also natural gas surge from $8/mcf to over $10/mcf. It's a variation on newspaper marketing model that "Bad News Sells" - - ie play up story that oil pipeline is down for maintenance, unrest in Venezuela, trouble with Iran, etc. Give me a break!!

Then, on other topic you have Pres Bush Jr who does NOTHING to lessen any of this speculation, or even take action when legitimate problem like Hurricane Katrina hit, and Bush refused to release any supply from the strategic reserve. Bush just keeps helping his TX cronies and oil buddies of Haliburton VP Cheney . . . give me a break!! Let's VOTE Bush and all the other Big Oil status quo patsies out of office . . Clean House!!!
