  • Honda's Gunnar Lindstrom retires

    Hi Curtis :

I have enrolled in a news letter from IANNGV (International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles ).

In a February 2, 2008 edition, this news letter states that Mr. Gunnar Lindstrom has retired. Mr. Lindstrom has been spearheading Honda's NGV program in the U.S.A. for the past several years.

February 1, 2008 was his last day at Honda.

Mr. Lindstrom's Department at Honda was responsible for developing the launch strategy for the GX and the "Phill" Home refueling appliance.

Mr. Lindstrom was also Vice Chair of NGVAmerica.

Curtis do you know if Honda is planning to move another qualified Person to fill Mr. Lindstrom's role for Honda's NGV Program ?

I haven't heard anything official yet but I'm thinking that Gunnar's right hand man and assistant division manager Eric Rosenburg may be a shoe-in. If not, I may apply for the job...

      Hi Curtis :

Thanks for the valued Information regarding Mr. Lindstrom's replacement at Honda's NGV Program.

I think Honda is really going to be able to fill a Niche market with their NGVs.

      Curtis, you da Man.

I wonder what Gunner is going to be up to. He is a very intelligent and nice man. Eric is no slouch himself.

When I spoke to Eric today he wasn't sure what Honda was going to do with Gunners position. He's got his fingers crossed and wouldn't turn down the offer... but it's an offer he hasn't been made yet. I wish him the best of luck. I too really like Eric. He's been great to work with over the years and has supported me at every turn.
