Does anyone know after you have my phill installed and you would like to get a better rate on your natural gas at home and you send in the request to the Southern calif gas company will they ask for a permit?

Yes, you need to put the permit number on the application to get the NGV1 rate. I am in City of LA and the permit was cheap (about $70 I recall) and the inspection was easy. Make sure you show the inspector the front of the Phill manual which shows it is an approved appliance.

Make sure to send in the "Letter of Intent to Install" first. Then the "Request for rate change". You'll find both here in Curt's Corner in this sticky thread: http://cngchat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=679.
