Does anyone know after you have my phill installed and you would like to get a better rate on your natural gas at home and you send in the request to the Southern calif gas company will they ask for a permit?

Yes, you need to put the permit number on the application to get the NGV1 rate. I am in City of LA and the permit was cheap (about $70 I recall) and the inspection was easy. Make sure you show the inspector the front of the Phill manual which shows it is an approved appliance.02 GX
