HB 70: Good Idea? or Bad Idea?

Do you think that House Bill 70 is a good idea or bad idea?

Here are the PROS and CONS

PROS
Less expensive conversions - lower cost in certifying vehicle (State only not EPA)
Less time in certifying - no EPA loop holes to jump through
More vehicles to certify - no specific to an engine family or model year
Has checks and balances for ensuring safe conversions

CONS
EPA does not approve of bill (threatening to sue state of Utah)

Let 'em Sue. State rights trump Federal rules. It's time the states reminded the Federal hacks of that.

The EPA has been working to squelch CNG for YEARS, all the while pretending to promote a cleaner environment. Time for them to get out of the way, and let us catch up to all the 3rd world countries who are lightyears ahead of us in the CNG industry.

I completely agree, especially that States have the right to set their own rules when the issue is not specifically allowed in the Constitution (10th amendment)
