  • New Pump at Jordan School District

Anyone have a chance to stop by the Jordan School District lately? I stopped by Friday evening, hadn't been there in more than a month thanks to the Sandy station opening again.

I pulled up and there was a new fangled pump, not like any other in Utah, fortunately. Best part is the north side is labeled 3000 and the south side is labeled 3600. Does this mean we will actually be able to get a (nearly) complete fill on the south side of the valley? The pump wasn't up and running yet but it is a nice option. I may have to dust off that state fuel card.

Anyone have any additional info on this one?

This is the first I've heard of it, but it would be worth going over there instead of the Sandy station if they get the 3600psi pump going.

It was operational for at least one day last week. I filled up there on Thursday. The 3600 side was the only one operational. The pressure readout is digital and increases as it adds gas to your tank. My fill on Thursday was 3103 psi. I went by on Saturday and both sides were covered by the red flags. I also noticed that there were at least two more plywood crates about the size of the new fangled ANGI pump. They were sitting over by the CNG compressor. There was one more crate about a week before, so I am assuming that the installed pump came out of one of the crates and the remaining crates have more new fangled pumps in them. I wonder where they are slated to be installed?

I got a fill of about 3200 on that same hose the day after they installed the new pump. We will see if they are seriously going to provide 3600 psi. I doubt it.

I filled there today and the 3600 pump is still only delivering 3200 but that beat the Sandy station where I was not able to get any fuel

The yellow (3600PSI) one will not latch to my 1999 Honda Civic and my 2008 Honda Civic. Only the blue (3000PSI) will. There was a note that read " 3600PSI yellow will not fill 3000 PSI tanks. Please use the blue 3000 PSI handle" Are my Civics not 3600 PSI???

All Honda Civic GXs are 3,600 psi tanks/systems. They should be able to "latch" onto the yellow handled pumps. There must be something either on your receptacle or on the filling nozzle itself that is preventing it from latching on.

My 2004 GX latches on just fine. I just wish the pump would put out 3600 PSI.

Not to get picky, but it's Canyons School District now. ;-)

The land where the pump is located, is leased from the District.
