Hello All:
I'm new to this forum. I live in Provo, Utah and recently purchased a 2001 Chevy Express 2500. We had our sixth child in January, thus pushing us out of the minivan market. I dreaded purchasing a big gas guzzler, so I started doing a bit of research, which led me to our purchase of our 12-passenger blue beauty.
So far I'm enjoying the CNG experience. I recently returned from a road trip to Orange County, CA. It was sort of a hassle stopping for CNG in Springville, then Fillmore, then Cedar City, then St. George, then Vegas, then Barstow, then Victorville...you get the idea. But by the time we arrived in Newport Beach, we had only used 5-10 gallons of gasoline. It felt pretty cool to transport my family of 8 to and from CA in an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective manner.
Anyhoo, quickie question for my fellow Utahns. My van is working fine now, but can you refer me to any good repair shops in case CNG system in it starts having problems?
Thanks,
Smac
