  • Questar posting station updates on Twitter.

I just searched for CNG on twitter and found this: http://twitter.com/QuestarGasCNG

Questar posted an update saying: CNG station update - Online: Brigham City/Perry, UT at 1100 S. 1674 W. (Time: 4:50 p.m.)

Even if you're not into twitter, it's easy to set it up to forward these messages to your cell phone. I hope they keep this up and let us know when stations go down and come back up.

Everyone should get on there and encourage them to continue posting station updates.

Thanks for the update! I just talked to a high up at Questar (one of my neighbors, the CNG devision reports to him) and he said that their intent is to use Twitter to update the public about what is happening with CNG. I like it and I finally find, that Twitter can actually be useful. I have signed up and now use Twitter to give updates on the various stations I visit and what time I am there and what the pressure is. My Twitter is cngdan. I have tweeted some updates already from my last couple of fillups and the latest I hear about Bountiful and Orem and their new compressors. Questar finally has a timeline for them (September). I would love it if more of you would use something like Twitter to update where you are filling up and what the pressure is. I drive to Price, Richfield, Fillmore, Cedar City, St George and Logan a lot for my business and would love to know which way to go and where the pressure is good. Twitter is free. And I can use it on my mobile phone (iPhone) to send updates.

Let me know what you guys think. John Mitton, are you in?

    Thanks,

    Dan

I suppose it is time to get set up with Twitter for my phone. Since I mostly fuel at home when in Utah I seldom need Questar updates but it would be good to check out how this works. For now I really like the mobile CNGprices site, it has been invaluable as I travel.
