  • Ogden pumps down

I went up to see a customer in Montpelier Id on Friday (they don't celebrate Pioneer Day up there) and when I came back, skipped the Logan station (it's pressure was low on my way up) and also skipped Brigham City, thinking I still had three bars left on my 08 Civic GX, so thought I would chance it and go to Ogden. When I pulled in, to my surprise both pumps where out of order. I had just one bar left with the light on. Fortunately I found a slow moving semi in the right lane on the freeway and I drove behind him to Clearfield and made it. Glad at least that Clearfield was up and running, though pressure was mediocre as usual (2,500), but enough to get me through the weekend. Has anyone heard what is up with Ogden? Also have to go to Cedar City and St George this week, how is Fillmore station these days? Or do I need to go through Richfield?
    Thanks!

My rule in driving dedicated natural gas vehicles all over the place (I have put on over 40,000 miles in the past year with Impalas driving around CA, AZ, NV, UT, WY, CO, NM, TX, OK, MO, NE, IN, MI)

"If you can get gas, do get gas."

You might want to get the Utah-issued Gascard to use USU's station if you head to Logan frequently?

Hi John, how are you? I do have a Utah-issued Gascard, but have never used it, I just always go to the "regular" stations. I read or heard somewhere that if you don't use that card for a while, it won't be valid, so I just don't use it. Is that true? I have had the card since they were available and have never used it yet.

BTW, I have put over 30,000 on my Civic since I met you at the Fillmore Station when I bought it and drove it home. How is your business?

Ah yes, I do remember you
Business is going well. We should chat on the phone sometime, send me a private message to set this up.

Back on topic, I would recommend you use the GASCARD once in a while. USU would be a perfect opportunity next time you head that way. We need to show the State that the public uses and appreciates access to the stations.

Just an update on the Ogden station. I filled up there this morning (7/28) and only one pump was working. The compressor was running (that's a good sign).
