If you haven't filled at the Jordan District pumps lately you might not know of the speed dips. I didn't see the first one a couple of nights ago until I was right on top of it. I managed to slow my car considerably from the 10 mph I was going before hitting it, but still smacked the bottom of my GX pretty hard. The speed dips look like deep gutters, but their placement can be for no other purpose than to slow traffic. The park area there is pretty busy with soccer and the like on Saturdays and Summer evenings, so the traffic control is understandable. The dips are located on the road that runs north-south between 9400 South and the gas pumps. Neither one was marked with any warning signs. They are deep enough that I will always drive through them at an extreme angle to avoid scraping bottom.
