  • SPRINGVILLE FLYING J Anybody have info?

Springville flying J seems to be a circus right now on getting fuel. Anybody have any info if they are ever going to fix the other 3 pumps that are down? Are we doomed to one pump forever? If anybody has any info please post. Thanks

I was there at midnight on a WED and had to wait behind 3 others to use the pump, once I took my 30 gallons there were 4 people waiting behind me, at midnight, that's crazy

Anyone asked Flying J if they have any info when they are going to fix the pumps, or have anyone called queststar?

from what I hear, and mind you I am in Arizona, is that Questar really could care less about these pumps.

I just filled up there tonight and all 4 pumps are operational. Questar is doing what they can to keep up with the demand. You cant just go down to the CNG dispenser store and buy a new one and drop it in place of the broken one.

My local fuel station has gone down twice in the 2+ years I have had my car, due to someone driving off with the nozzle attached. Both times it was fixed in less than 24 hrs.

Well, wherever they get them they must be build by hand for the months it has taken them to fix all the pumps. Probably the indian not the arrow.

If it were easy and the equipment was readily available Questar wouldn't be the only one doing it in Utah. Seems odd that the only one willing to fuel your car is the one taking the beating here.

I don't think thats its due to availability, but more the cost that developers are not building fill stations.

My point is apparently parts are readily available.

Not true, from what I hear the state will not let you open a public fueling station in Utah without a 2 year wait. Not sure why, well actually I do know why, but I have heard this from different sources now. Has anyone tried to open one and run into this?

I know that there is non-Questar CNG station opening up in Tooele. It should be opening up soon.

That's cool, not that I need one there, but the fact that someone accomplished it is great!! I hope more can learn and follow this example.

If that's the case, I am NEVER filling up there. That is highway robbery, literally.

Something new? When I was there in July, I just had them run my card for authorization. No need to go back in unless I wanted a receipt.
