  • Least favorite place to fill up in Utah?

Where is your least favorite place to fill up in Utah?

I'll start this one. I will have to go with Springville. Always busy and usually someone filling up with gasoline is in the way. Low pressure and sometimes no pressure. Prepay only - what is up with that? I'm glad I don't go down there often.

I have to agree with Springville. No card reader and you have to go in to pay and wait for smelly truckers and the clerks aren't much better. Pumps always down because of improper use by ill informed CNG owners. Pressure is good but I have had to wait up to 45 min for my turn at the pump. I have stopped going there altogether. I have a better station to go to now. Just installed phill at home. What a difference!!!

I wonder what is going to happen when Utah becomes so saturated with CNG cars and trucks, that the infrastructure can no longer sustain it? We are after all heading down that road!

Fillmore has the least compression capacity in the system.

It was designed for an occasional visit by Questar trucks, but today it is hit by all kinds of motorists heading up and down I-15. Richfield rocks!

Jared, thanks for putting up the poll.

I had to vote for Springville. It seems to get worse every time I stop there. I try to avoid it if at all possible. It seemed to be fine until they went to prepay now it is a nightmare.

Only used Springville and Orem, and it was a coin toss. Springville is a real hassle to sit and wait in line (and there's ALWAYS a line) especially with only 1 opperational nozzle.

Orem never has good pressure, so it's virtually impossible to get a complete fill, but there are rarely any lines, and there are 2 working pumps.

I wish Eco Fueler would start selling that $5000 home fueling station they've been talking about...
