  • Tesoro CNG Station Down - Redwood & N. Temple

I went by to fill up my truck this morning at the Tesoro on the corner of Redwood Rd. and North Temple. There was a tech out there working on the CNG pump. He wasn't sure how long it would be down. I just wanted to give everyone the heads up.

Um, it's in Utah (thus the posting in the Utah forum . . .)

When this BB sends out new threads on RSS it doesn't give you the thread name (at least not on my RSS reader). So, even if you post something in the correct forum (and we know people ALWAYS post things in the correct forum), don't assume someone knows that when they read your post. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE always include the city and state with any location.

Let me take this opportunity to give a big thumbs up to everyone reporting stations down and up again on the Fueling Station Map www.cngprices.com

It is so frustrating to check the map before leaving and then arrive to a station that's actually down.

Please let's all help each other! Keep up the reporting of down / back up status, as soon as you can, when you find a station has changed!

          Thank you!

Just a side note, i hope all cng buyers are giving the stations that provide cng all of your convenience store/beverage business. I heard a station in downtown salt lake (old sinclair station??) closed down the cng pumps because cng buyers didn't spend any money in the store, too cheap. I hope that was all just rhetoric.

I've decided to try to use cash instead of debit/credit as well-to save the station the fee charged by the card. It's not much, but if it helps put a little more money in the station's pocket, and doesn't cost me anymore, why not? Especially to if it helps keeps the station around!

I do the same thing, not to save the credit card fees though... it's just nice to be able to pay for gas in cash :-)
