In Orem, UT at 590 N 1500 W. I was disappointed by the pressure. During the fill it dropped to 2500 psi. I had the same experience 2x so I have choosen to fill in SLC at other stations for now. The gas light came on at 110 miles whenever I filled in Orem.

Re: Orem Sinclair
I have been getting the best fills at the orem station. I haven't run CNG long, but the last month everywhere has be under 3000psi and orem has been 3200psi. I would still love to get a 3600pis fill...someday....2000 Escalade (option 3 conversion) FOR SALE

Re: Orem Sinclair
Utah county folks: try the 3600 ~ 3800 psi Flying J in Springville. It rocks! There are also two pumps there - one at the auto stand and another out by the big-rig trucks.
Orem is becoming a very busy CNG station. It has been hit-or-miss for me whenever I go there. It was probably just your luck that you keep showing up a few minutes after someone in a large van or truck just unloaded 20 GGE's from the storage.
Also, by all means call the number on the pump if the pressure is down and the compressor is not running. If Questar gets enough calls then perhaps they will install a second compressor in Orem like they recently did at 90th South.
Edited to add:
One thing I hate about this station is they never seem to pressure-spray the spilt diesel away from the pump. It ends up all over my brand new GX floor mats!

Re: Orem Sinclair
I got great 3100-3200 psi fills the last two times I filled at the Orem Sinclair....As for the "3600 ~ 3800 psi Flying J in Springville" I used to LOVE to fill up there, but the last few times I filled up at the Flying J, I just got a typical 3000 psi fill.
My dad who lives close by said he thought someone must have adjusted the pressure down recently, as he never gets as much pressure as in times past. Anyone else notice this?

Re: Orem Sinclair
I live in Orem and have been filling up at the Orem station primarily for the last 6 weeks. My expereience has been that if I fill up on the off hours (ie. late evenings and Saturdays) I stand a better chance of getting a higher pressure fill.
I did get a free tank of gas there several weeks ago. I did call and report the issue and now I see that pump is out of service.
The Questar guy was there working on the compressor the other morning and he indicated that they've had a leak in the compressor building that's been siphoning off pressure.
The Questar guy complained about not being able to get the parts and service needed from the manufacturer of the equipment. He didn't have any idea when these issues would be repaired.

Re: Orem Sinclair
Hopefully the Lindon station will be opening soon. Alpine school district has one just off of state st. and it should be made publicly available soon.
Orem has just been weak for the past few months and on weeks like this one when the Flying J is down for maintenance, it just doubles the load in Orem. I got about 1800 psi yesterday. It filled me right up to 1/2 on a bone dry tank.

Re: Orem Sinclair
Derek where do you get your info? I hope your right on with the Lindon station. I just dont think that it will be coming anytime soon. I dont think Alpine School district has flowed any fuel through those pumps for some time.Last edited by clean03; 05-04-2008, 02:15 PM.
