You are seeing posts for Utah, which is 0.85/gal, state wide. check cngprices.com to see what I mean. The prices of CNG are widely varied by location.

      Re: Reno Area

i've called and talked to Western Energetix, and yes, they are charging $3.29 a gge.
i told them they should be ashamed of charging that much. they don't care because they don't have any competition.
i won't buy a CNG vehicle until i can afford to also buy a home refueling station.
i'll keep playing with Hydrogen boosters until then....

        Re: Reno Area

        Hi:

Do you know what hours are they open, and do they accept credit cards, or atm cards.

My wife likes to go to Reno every so often and Western Energetix is the only game in Reno.

they are open 24/7, but it's a card lock system. you have to fill out an application, and they bill you monthly.
Western Energetix is a subsidiary of Berry-Hinkley.
their numbers are (775)689-1234 or 1-800-322-4561
there is one other CNG station semi-local at south shore Lake Tahoe, where the price is more reasonable at $2.54 right now, but i don't have any info on hours or owners.

Tahoe's CNG pump is just in a parking lot across from the airport terminal. It's open 24/7 and takes credit cards. Not sure which cards they accept - I used a Visa card.
