Hydrogen Prius?

Yesterday on my way to work, I spotted a Prius with a green diamond sticker on the back and I believe it said hydrogen. I did not take a good look at it due to all the stop and go traffic , ( I had to keep my eyes on the road or else ), I did notice that it is a municiple vehicle belonging to the City of Riverside.


Has anyone seen or heard of such a vehicle?

I have seen a couple of them at the SCAQMD in Diamond Bar.

It was made by Quantum for some CA fleets. I think they shipped some to Greenland and Norway too. It is NOT a fuel cell vehicle, but burns the hydrogen in the internal combustion engine, so the range is like 100 miles or so

Do a google search for "quantum hydrogen prius" and you will find lots if info.
