  • Garden Grove vs. Anaheim stations

    Hey all,

Is it really worth it to go to Anaheim, pay $2.26 and get 80% fill up or is it better just to go to Garden Grove and pay $2.39 and get 100%? I really dislike that Anaheim station because of the poor fill and often long line.

Most of the time I get 100% at Anaheim but I fill up before 7AM. I just wish that Trillium would hurry up and get that second compressor installed which would solve the problem.

I don't think I've ever gotten 100% at Anaheim Trillium.

That's strange, when I fill at the Anaheim Trillium location I usually achieve at least a 95 percent fill on a regular basis, as long as there is only one other car present when I arrive. When you have 3 or 4 cars filling in a short span of time the outcome isn't always as pleasant.

For awhile I was worried that So Cal Gas would be selling that property for residential and commercial development (because it's in the so-called "Platinum Triangle"). Given the state of our economy--and the fact they're having a real tough time selling the few condos they have already built--I think the location is safe for now.

One of the So Cal Gas maintenace employees stated that the redevelopment potential of that property was one of their main considerations when they chose to let the public filling station slide into oblivion. I'm glad that Trillium took the risk to re-open the location.
