  • Anaheim Open April 1st- No Joke :-)

At long last, the Trillium CNG fueling station at The Gas Company's location at 1919 S State College Blvd in Anaheim is ready for prime time.

To welcome you all to the new station, we are going to offer CNG at $1.50 per GGE from 7 am until 4 pm on April 1st. (Even after that we'll have great pricing too!)

Come by and fill up! We look forward to serving you.

    Cheers,
    Jennifer

PS. If anyone has a business fleet and wants to set up a fueling account please email me at jdetapia(at)trilliumusa.com. Otherwise, you can pay by major credit cards.

    Jennifer -

That's great news! I'll put in a comment on the station at CNGPrices.com that it will be opening on the 1st and I'll set the price to $1.50 for that day! Will there be any sort of "event" or just cheap CNG?

    Cheers,

That is definitely good news, that location is very convienient for my visits to my family in OC.
I presume the price will be 2.269 after all the hoopla is over.
Maybe I will put a flyer up at the GG CE station announcing this!

            Jennifer,

Great job in getting one of the worst stations back online. I'm not sure how well I can work the Anaheim station into my route to work but I'm sure going to give it a try. My hope is that this station does well and you get the contract to rebuild the Garden Grove Station.

Are you going to be at the station early on the 1st? If so I'll say hi when I fill up at 7.

              Go JetBoatJohnny !!!

If you have a color laser or inkjet printer, PLEASE print up a bunch of flashy announcements and post on ALL CE cng stations in surrounding 15 or 20 mile radius!!!

I would do 50 mile radius if I lived there !!!

Jennifer, can I get a tour of the equipment? Who will be doing the maintenance?

Re: Anaheim Open April 1st- No Joke :-) It's OPEN

The station is up and running as I filled up there this morning. It looks like I got a complete 3,600 psi fill.

I think the price was $2.429, I'm not sure since I left the receipt in the car, not the $2.269 listed on the web site

Jennifer, can I get an adjustment

I'll get receipt at lunch and edit this post if it's different.

I'll be long gone by then. I figure I'll be there around 7 AM although I may stick around for an half an hour or so.

Re: Anaheim Open April 1st- No Joke :-)

I just heard the tail end of an interview on the radio that said a cng station was (I believe opening) at or near the San Fernando City hall. As it was a Los Angeles city counsel person being interviewed it is in the valley. They quoted $1.99 per gge as the price. Does anybody know where this is and if it is open to the public? I heard it on KFWB 980.

I filled up at the Anaheim station on Gene Autrey Way tonight ... was $2.42 per gallon.

Good news: It looks like the $99 charge was an authorization since the real charge was posted last night.

Not so good: There is still a $99 pending charge. Also, isn't a $99 authorization a bit high since most fill ups are less that $20? It's not a big deal but it would be nice if Trillium could work on this.

Now the only question is "Why is the web site and pump price different?". It looks like the pump price is the web price + sales tax but as we all know there is no sales tax on CNG in California. At $2.269 I'll give all my business to Trillium that I can even though it's a little out of the way.

Can anyone that filled up yesterday (3/28) check if they have a pending $99 charge on their creditcard/debitcard via your online banking?

My wife found one this morning and was really ticked off I'm holding judgement since it's pending transaction which could be nothing more than a authorization and will change to the correct amount.

It's not a big deal but if it's just an authorization but it should be converted to the correct charge once you close the pump.

I went unplugged for a few days - sorry to not reply sooner to the issues that have been raised...

The $99 is just an authorization, but I agree that its way too high. It must be a default in the dispenser. I'll talk to the software company to get them to change that setting. Hopefully that'll be taken care of today.

The price on the website that you saw is for our Northern California stations. (This is our first southern CA public station.) I hadn't separated the pricing into north and south since this station is only unofficially open. Sorry, I know that was confusing for you. It's fixed now. BTW, the posted prices do include tax.

As far as an "event" goes, there won't be a ribbon cutting or anything like that tomorrow. We are talking about doing a CNG-related outreach event at an Angels game since the station is just across the street. Stay tuned for more on that.

I hope that answers most questions, thanks for helping us flush out these issues before the big day tomorrow. I'll be there most of the day, I'll look forward to meeting you!
