  • anyone in SoCal with a home filling station I can try?

my truck owner's manual states I can get a 21gge fill vs. the 18gge @ a fast fill pump...so I want to try it out to see if I get an increased range with that extra 3gge

I would also fill up at a "fast" station before coming over, that way I would only need 3-4gge at most to top it off.

I will gladly pay you for your gas!

    much thanks!

By topping off with a FMQ, you will for sure get more in the tank v.s. fast fill from close to empty... Note that when you find someone to do the test, you'll be visiting for a while (at less than 1 GGE per hour)

Doing the trick of fast filling, then waiting for the tank to cool off for a couple hours, then topping off may get you just as much extra in the tank and it may even be faster. Happy Friday!
