Reading some sort of emergency booklet, I noted that when the temp inside the tank of my GX reaches 102 degrees a valve opens and my cng is exhausted to the great outdoors. I know during summer weather, particularly in Palm Springs etc, temps inside a closed car get way, way high. Why don't I see a ton of complaints regrading empty cng tanks?

Re: CNG discharged when temp is 102 degrees
Just checked my figuers, and 102 deg C is about 215 deg F. This is in the temperature range the PRD (pressure relief device) will go off.
If it goes off you will know it! You will also have to replace the PRD since it a one time use device and probably the Cylinder valve (if Honda is using the GfI electronic cylinder valve.
Let's hope it never needs go off
