  • What's up with the Merced station?

The map at cngprices.com lists the Merced station as inoperable. Does anyone have an official word from PG&E as to its status? I tried calling them, but I just got their message machine. I was planning on using that station this Sunday on my way from Woodland to Oakhurst. I wouldn't mind using the Madera station, but I don't have a "Tesei Card CFN Fleet-Start". It would be pretty annoying to have to go all the way to Fresno. Is the Fresno PG&E station even open on Sundays?

I could use some insider information here.

    Thanks!

I got the word from PG&E. The Merced station is fully operational. I sent an update to cngprices.com.

The Merced station was down for one day in May. They had an Oil warning on the compressor that shut it down, then the card reader went bad.... all on the same day. PG&E had a crew out there within a couple hours and had the station back up in about six hours..... and stayed on site until 2300 to ensure everything was going to keep working.
