  • New PG&E CNG Station in Richmond CA

PG&E recently rebuilt its Richmond Service Center CNG station and it's again open to PG&E customers. The new station is located in the PG&E yard (behind the fence) at 1100 South 27th St. Take the Marina Ave exit of Hwy 580 and go South about 1/4 mile. The PG&E yard is on the left side of the street past the railroad tracks. The facility has a 24hr guard service so you may need to sign a roster and/or possibly wait for the guard to return if they step away. Despite some perceptions of Richmond, this is a safe and clean facility and very convenient for 580 commuters.

The new station offers a 3000 & 3600 PSI hose and no lines. A PG&E card is still required.

    Enjoy.

Note: Google Maps is not finding this address (1100 South 27th St.) correctly. The PG&E yard is located at Pierson Ave / S 27th St, Richmond, CA not Cutting Blvd / S 27th St, Richmond, CA.

Hope this helps avoid confusion I went through. But how to report this to Google?
