The current focus of the proceeding is on electric vehicles and there is discussion that natural gas vehicles should be addressed in Phase III in January 2011.
We should get involved and put pressure on the commission to include natural gas vehicles in an earlier phase. Why make electric vehicles a priority, when natural gas vehicles are already on the road in much greater numbers?
Decisions in this proceeding could impact a number of CNG issues, including natural gas pricing and subsidies/tax breaks for home fueling equipment.
