Anheuser-Busch will use trucks powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) from now on at its Houston, Texas distribution facility, retiring its present fleet of 66 diesel engine trucks.

The trucks are being leased to the company by Ryder Systems, Inc., which will provide all required maintenance on the vehicles as well. The State of Texas is helping make the switch to CNG trucks possible through a grant under the Texas Emissions Reduction Plan (TERP).
