They are probably no longer passing along the net 32 cent / gge federal excise tax credit (50 cents minus 18 road tax). Congress is making progress in renewing the credit, retroactive to Dec 31, 2009 when it expired. I suppose ONG can not longer take the risk.

      From NGVAmerica:

      Update on Tax Extender Legislation
The Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Sandy Levin (D-MI), stated that the Senate debated this week on health care has delayed action on legislation extending several expired tax provisions, including the 50 cents per gge fuel tax credit for natural gas when used as a transportation fuel. A dispute over how to pay for the legislation has stopped the House from moving the legislation. Communications between the House and the Senate continue however, and the Chairman indicated that he hopes to have the work completed on the Tax Extenders bill over the two-week Easter break, which starts this weekend.

Yeah, still does NOT make sense . . . . commodity price on NG just hit $3.87 per Mcf last Friday.

Any insight from power players in OK . . . like Tom Sewell at TGT . . . you know what's up ??

For the months of Feb March and April 1.57 is not bad price. We held the urge to raise our price to 1.55 because we have a gas contract through April 30th. Our price will change in May. It looks like the NYMEX is trending down. If it stays down we will be lowering our price but we will have to wait untill May 4th.

Some times you have to average several months of pricing to get the price at the dispenser. Dont beat up ONG to much they gave us .89 for many years.
