I believe that kit would be perfectly fine if you have no intention of driving/registering the vehicle in the US. It is not certified for use in the US on any emmission controlled vehicle, and as such, is illegal to use. It is also against forum rules here to discuss illegal kits.

As for whether it is a good kit or any decent instructions, this is usually better asked BEFORE purchasing something. I would try my hardest to get a refund for whatever you paid.

It would appear that your kit has lots of "South of the Border" earmarking. I would suspect the instructions are in spanish and will be tricky to decipher.

The reason we did this forum was to educate people to what is safe, legal, approved for use, etc. Either you are a very late comer to this group, or you didn't heed any of the advise given here in the conversions forum. If you had... you would have saved yourself a lot of money and grief.

*You can not install the kit you purchased on your truck if you want to use it on the roadways within the US.
*No legit conversion shop will install it for you.
*There are severe fines for having non EPA approved conversions installed.
*If you have to pass smog... Good luck.

If the truck is to be used and registered as a "Farm Vehicle" you may be OK... But I doubt anyone wishing to avoid some very expensive fines would install it for you.

Prior advise was good advise. Attempt to get your money back. First clue you had a problem should have been the words "Beta Testing". This is done with computers, not legal conversions. Anyone wanting you to do a "Beta Test" of an illegal conversion on your vehicle has opened themselves up for some serious legal liabilities if they reside in the US.

If you bought this on EBay, notify them/PayPal that this item is not legal for the purposes advertised and see if they can assist you with a remedy. If you bought this within the US... Call your lawyer.

whois lists the site registrant as Good Frog Corporation, LLC. The only reference I can find to that company is it being in Orem, UT, owned by one Austin Mabry and described as "a new startup company focused on internet and local sales. With a main focus on internet auctions. The Good Frog Corp. Is mainly interested in selling consumer electronics, such as media players and accessories."

Sounds like who I'd trust for alternative fueled vehicle conversions... The good thing is, they are in the US, and an LLC, so you should have someone availble to sue. :-) I don't know how much you spent, but it is probably within the bounds of UT Small Claims Court. Obviously, try to get a refund first, but if that doesn't work, get the courts involved.

There is no EPA certified kit for that vehicle. Maybe after the Drive America on Natural Gas bill gets passes(call your Senator) you could put on several good kits but for now you are out of luck in the US.
