Anyone fill up at the National Grid (ex KeySpan) station on Staten Island? I will be in the area this Saturday and I'm told that a special fuel card is required to access the pump. Any help / advice would be welcome!

Re: Staten Island CNG Station - New York City
National Grid finalized the acquisition of KeySpan in late 2006 or early 2007. I'm told that there are ex-KeySpan stations all around NYC but they only operate with a KeySpan or NationalGrid card. I have also learned that the NYFD has implemented a ridiculous (but not surprising) requirement that all NGV owners participate & pass an in-person CNG fueling training course. All of this bureaucracy is a sure-fire way to sour the public's appetite for CNG vehicles.Jeff

I used this facility (on Gulf Ave) on May 15th with my Clean Energy card. It is behind a gate and in the back of the facility, but once the guard saw that I had a Clean Energy fuel card, he let me in no problem.
