Re: Opel Zafira 1.6 CNG Turbo: First Turbo CNG Van
Maybe in Europe, but I believe a Crown Vic is more powerful. Here's another article: http://www.greencarcongress.com/2008...intr.html#moreBLUE 09 GX

Re: Opel Zafira 1.6 CNG Turbo: First Turbo CNG Van
The Crown Vic had 175hp when new, and the Ford 5.4L trucks/vans had even more. It probably is true about the most powerful in Europe though.1997 Factory Crown Victoria w/ extended tanks ~~ Clunkerized!

Re: Opel Zafira 1.6 CNG Turbo: First Turbo CNG Van
I suppose you're correct. A CNG Crown Vic is my daily driver. And while it feels like a v-6 compared to the gasoline version, it certainly has more oomph than a 1.6 GM turbo.
The phrase could be true if they were to qualify it, perhaps "most powerful OEM natual gas light duty vehicle in production"
