  • Check www.cngprices.com for Canadian NGV Stations

I've been working with the Gentleman who manages the www.cngprices.com WEB Site.

I'll be gathering current pricing and hours of operation from all 19 NGV Stations in and near the Greater Vancouver ( British Columbia, Canada ) area over the February 16 and 17, 2008 weekend.

This WEB site is very current and a valuable resource for finding NGV public filling stations.

I think it would be great if all NGV Owners could assist this WEB Master in keeping this WEB site current.

So, don't forget to move the map at www.cngprices.com way up North

Re: Check www.cngprices.com for Canadian NGV Stations

As of March 24, 2008, all 81 publicly accessible CNG stations have been entered in to www.cngprices.com

    Quebec has 1 station
    Ontario has 34 stations
Saskatchewan has 11 stations (SaskEnergy Card required after business hours
Alberta has 12 stations (ATCO gas card required)
    British Columbia has 23 stations

The prices posted are cents per liter.

For those in the U.S.A, to get the U.S. price per gallan, take the price you see, then multiply by 3.79 . ( .68 * 3.79 = $2.58 per U.S. Gallon )

Thanks for all the help Todd !

This is a fantastic site. I can see the price at the shell station in my neighbourhood. Will be sure to update with the latest price.

        Hi gi_jeeper :

Yes, www.cngprices.com is a FANTASTIC site. Todd has done a lot of work, in creating this WEB site.

That would be great if you can keep as many of the Ontario CNG station prices as current as possible.

In Canada, the price at the pump is actually in cents/kilogram. This www.cngprices.com WEB site is wanting to display CNG pump prices in cents per Litre.

So, the math is the kilogram price multiplied by .67 (1.02*.67), for example, to obtain the cents per Litre pricing. We want to display cents per Litre pricing to show cost benefits to CNG, and to allow others to easily compare CNG pump prices to gasoline or diesel pump prices.

        Thanks for getting involved.
