Canadian Government & Stakeholders partner to develop NGV Roadmap

February 18, 2010 :

Geoff Munro, Chief Scientist and Assistant Deputy Minister for Natural Resources Canada, announced the Government of Canada’s intention to move forward with the roadmap deployment at last week’s Natural Gas Technology Futures Workshop hosted by the Canadian Gas Association. A Roundtable is to be convened by the Deputy Minister by mid-March.

Nice to see the Canadian government making some steps to making natural gas more mainstream. We have such an abundance of natural gas in Canada that it only makes sense to start thinking about it on a much bigger reach. I would like to see them go a step further and offer federal grants for NGV, or Green.
