Re: Looking for a Civic CNG

You will have to go to the US for it. You are better off getting in line for a new one as the prices for used are crazy with Utah bidding up the prices.

      Hi Jake1111 :

If/When you actually purchase your Honda GX, then "Import" it into Canada, can you please post your "Vehicle Importing" experience ? Perhaps this new post could be input in to the CANADA section on this Forum.

I am very interested to see how easy/difficult it is to bring a Factory built NGV Honda into British Columbia.

      Thanks

Hey no problem but i am looking for an older model ? That

might make a deference. I have an uncle that goes down

to the states all the time and buys cars, so i am going to

        ask him how,

and i will get back to you. Does anybody know about the

Phil stations and how much they are to install ?

        Also i am

looking to convert a dodge truck to natural gas as well, is

there anybody in Washington D.C. that might be able to do

it ? and can i still switch from natural gas to gas ?

        Thank you

        Jacob

          Moving to the Canada forum...

It really is odd that Honda never sold the GX in Canada. Per your request I'm moving this to the Canada forum. Let us know how it goes as you import it!

            Hi Jake1111

            1) Great, please reply to this thread on how easy/difficult your experience was on importing a GX.

            2) Below, is some contact information for Phill, from a May 22, 2008 Email that I receieved :

Thank you for your inquiry regarding Phill and FuelMaker.

Phill is not yet commercially available in Canada. Unfortunately I do not have a timeline for its release, but when it is available in your area we will contact you. Please feel free to contact us later this year for an update if you wish.

However, you can purchase the smallest of our commercial units - FMQ-2 which has a flow/fill rate of 1 GGE per hour. Please contact our Sales Manager, Tim Sanford at 416-674-3034 ext. 204 for more detailed information on FMQ -2.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns.

            Telephone#: 416-674-3034x277

            3) I don't know if there is any company in Washington DC that can perform a vehicle conversion, but TechnoCarb and Del's Auto in Delta (who I deal with) perform conversions.

            4) On my vehicle, I can switch from Gasoline to NG.

                Hi CNG MOTORS :

Have you ever sold or "exported" any GXs to Canada, especially British Columbia ?

                Thanks
