Re: Clean Air Vehicle plate for bifuel Cav, or no?
If we can just get the Clean Fuel Plate, Prius, Highlanders, RX400h, and Hybrids to give their plates to the bi-fuel folks we may clean our valley air.
What do they use for clean fuel anyway?
Where do they purchase that clean gasoline fuel??CH

Re: Clean Air Vehicle plate for bifuel Cav, or no?
From my reading of the bill he'll have to give it back.
Utah must use Federal Regulations on Federal Highways. Those say no bi-fuel so the only way to enforce that is to take the plates back. If you read the financials of the bill you'll see taking back the plates is included in the cost of the bill.
NOTE: Most legislation in UT takes affect July 1. But I've been informed that this one takes effect January 1, 2009.CH

Re: Clean Air Vehicle plate for bifuel Cav, or no?
I was at DMV yesterday and they said if I waited to get a clean air plate until the first of next year I wouldn't have to pay the extra $87 to get it. If I had read your post earlier I would have asked about bi-fuels.08 Civic GX
