Hi All,
I just got my HOV access stickers today.

I applied on a Tuesday.
The DMV cashed my $8 check on Tuesday exactly three weeks later.
I got the stickers in the mail on Friday.

The whole process took less than 4 weeks... not bad!

I waited until I got my plates before applying, and I also included a letter explaining why the GX gets the WHITE stickers.

I'm going to have a fun commute come Monday!

The stickers arrived today for the 2008GX. It was exactly one month to the day from when I had mailed off the application. I ordered them the day after the purchase of the car, without having the license plates. I learned, after the first three GX's, to send them everything you have about the car, including the window sticker (and highlight all places where it says "natural gas" only. The time before, Dec. 06, I got my check sent back with a note that I needed to have plates first. Not so this time. In 05' the dealer must have applied as well as myself because I was sent two sets of stickers in two different envelopes that time.

On another note; I called the CARB last Friday and was told the "rebate" was out of legal and across the hall being finalized. Yea!

Strange. I sent my application in and they sent it back saying they needed my plate information. grrrr .

Hey there all,

FYI, I spoke to the HOV sticker application processing dept., last week and they said that if they received the application in January, they haven't even touched it, they are still working on the December apps.

I mailed in the application for stickers Dec 14. On Jan 20, I received letter from DMV stating that according to their records my car was not NGV, but regular gas and to take it to local DMV for verification. I took it to local DMV and they asked me for my title. I told them it was a new car and I did not have it and they said there was nothing they could do and they would send it back to Sacramento. After a fight I got them to visually look at my car and fill out the requested verification. I mailed it yesterday and am guessing it will take at least another 5 weeks! ARGHHHHHH!!!!!

6 weeks from the day i picked up the car ! waited for plates for a week, so about 5 weeks for the stickers... i'm good with that

I just received my stickers today...

it only took about 6 weeks to get them, good job DMV employees!
