  • Non EPA Credit?

I'm pretty sure if it's not EPA that there is no way to claim a credit. However I did hear otherwise. Anybody have more information?

    arrestidvelocity,

Are you talking about the Federal tax credit or the Utah tax credit?

If Federal tax credit...Yes, the vehicle must be EPA certified, and on the federal list of qualifying vehicles on the IRS website.

If Utah tax credit...Yes, the vehicle must be EPA certified (you can check the Utah Division of Air Quality website). That does include vehicles that were converted under Option 3 back in 2000-2001.
