Civic GX Paperwork

Hi all,

All of my paperwork from purchasing a 2009 Civic GX has no mention of the model "GX".
The Due Bill, Installment Sale contract and Finance application say Civic Sedan 4D.
Will this pose a problem with getting any tax credits, HOV sticker, Ca Tax Credit??
Does the GX come out when they plug in the Vin #?

The VIN does translate to Honda GX. But, DMV does not do the lookup. You must make sure your dealership has had prior experience selling the GX. Because, the MP code for the registration MUST be 'N'. Check with the Finance guy or whoever it is, that the coding is correct. Don't wait until they've sent it off to the DMV.
The dealership I used, Power Honda of Valencia, had no prior experience. Thus, after two months, I'm still waiting.

If it's already registered incorrectly as gasoline, you need to fill out a 'statement of facts' and have it inspected at the DMV to confirm it is CNG to get the registration changed.

I am not sure what it is filled out as I don't have a copy of the portion that was sent out to the DMV. The Finance guy at the dealer told me that he emailed the DMV to make sure that the car was coded correctly. As soon as I get my license I will send out my Reg1000 form and we will take it from there. I will keep you all posted and Thank you for your kind comments.

In the meantime, could you direct me to the form "Statement of Facts" needed just incase I need to follow that brick road??
