What size is the line, how long from the meter to the FM, and what other gas devices are on the line?

Most gas meters have there output marked on the front of them. this is usually at a 1/2" drop, I.E. if the meter is 7" wc on the inlet side it will flow xx cfph with an outlet pressure of 6.5"wc. Other things it can be is under sized regulator or even a plugged regulator vent.

You do not have enough gas pressure.
You should have 7 to 14 Inches water column pressure to the
FuelMaker - With all your other gas appliances on.
So you need to have your system checked that it always stays
1/4 PSI or above with everything else running.
Could be gas regulator is set too low, not the right gas meter or
your supply pipe is too small a diameter.
