After a year of listening to our customers, we have improved our rebuild kits. Our kits now have composite self-expanding piston rings. This allows the AVA47 material successfully used in commercial compressors for over 25 years to seat and completely seal in less than 4 hours in most cases. The biggest customer complaint was long seating times. Also, we have improved our o-ring materials and geometries to withstand harsh conditions and provide positive sealing.
The kits also now include all of the o-rings in the compressor head, the o-rings in the breakaway block, all of the valve springs, a new timer chip, o-ring lube, and detailed instructions. As always, there is somebody available to answer questions or you can send us your head for a rebuild. Our average turnaround time is a week or less not including shipping time.
GreenFuels has several years of material engineering and CNG experience. We have also partnered Aavolyn who has been a leader in sealing solutions for decades.
In the next month, our machine and fabrication shop will be producing all the aluminum parts and bearings assemblies. After a year of looking at damaged parts, we have been able to improve on some designs to provide a much longer life of the hard parts.
