  • PHILL upgrades

Recently while talking to support at Fuelmaker, they mentioned a new 'box' one can add on or plug into the RS232 interface of the PHILL, which has enhanced features.
Mainly to allow delayed start of the pump.
Any thoughts or any other requiered features PHILL users or potential PHILL users are looking for?
    Post your ideas!

Some software changes I would propose include to not count the 'Drying cycle' as part of the 6000h count-down until refurb.
The 6000h is for the compressor live but when PHILL is in a drying cycle the compressor is off. The drying cycle is 1/2h every 8h. If it would not count one can get about 350h more out for actual pumping. - just another thought.

    A user-friendly exchange program.

The installer HAS a Phill in stock, ready to go. He comes out, puts the new one up, sends the bad one back to the factory. One trip by the installer and no waiting for weeks/months to get back up and running.

How about a GGE counter so we know how much gas is going into our cars.

FM will never do it but I would love a compressor option will oil to extend the life of the compressor and increase flow. A lot of people I'm sure would not mind changing the oil in the compressor every so many hours for the increased flow. While others that don't want to get messy can stick with the oil less pumps. They already have these pumps on the other side of the world, where NG is more prominent

I think an oilless compressor is preferable for NG because it eliminates the possibility of oil being added to the fuel.
