  • service for FM4

I have a Fuelmaker FM4 which I bought on eBay and it has worked well for about 3 months. I use it to fuel my 1998 Ford Contour bifuel. Now I'm having problems with the FM4. The blinking green light indicates an "incorrect" status, and the steady yellow code light comes on after pressing the stop button for a few seconds. I've spoken with Joe, a technician in the Rancho Cucamonga, CA area, and he has helped me a bit. But I'm in Freeport, Texas on the Gulf Coast. Does anyone know of a technician nearer to me, or does anyone have an FM4 who could give me some advice?
    Thanks,
    Wildowl

    Re: service for FM4

There are several dealers in Texas who might help you:

I also got my FM4 off eBay but had the local dealer here in SLC completely refurbish it with new seals and updated circuit board. As you may know, Fuelmaker has not produced the FM4 for many years but parts are still available for it (not so with the old C3's which still pop up on eBay every so often). Good luck and let us know how you fare.

Call Fuelmaker at 1-866-my phill and they can recommend a factory trained tech to you in your area. You can also go to the Fuelmaker.com site and probably download the manual for it.
