Any PC/electronic wizards analyze the RS-232 port on a Phill?

On the bottom of the Phill unit there is a 9 pin RS-232 (serial?) port. Has anyone tried to find out what this port is for and if any information can be extracted from it? If it's a serial port then it would be easy enough to connect to a PC but without knowing the baud rate and data settings any testing would be difficult.

I would be happy to use mine as a test unit if anyone in the LA area is interested.

The contractor that installed my phill today said that he got some software from fuelmaker and he hooked up his old laptop to it. He said that with the software you can tell how many hours are on the unit and the operating pressure. There are probly a few more parameters i imagine but i didnt ask him.

I got the software from FM to analyze the inlet pressure because my phill was giving the low inlet pressure error, but my water-column 'reader' showed a perfect 8".
the SW reads all sorts of parameters and optionally creates a log entry every 10sec.
Here is the header of the log file:
