  • CNG compressor from Europe

Bauer Compressor is a German company, but it seems they do not have a HRA.
here is their US brochure link.
Bauer CNG Compressed Natural Gas compressors for fleet transportation and pipeline quality gas compression. Bauer has recip and rotary screw compressor systems. CNG Compressors in Mexico Gas Natural Comprimido (GNC)

    and their home page:

got the link form this thread:

The guys at Bauer are a great group. They make a good product with good parts availability. The Bauer is is expensive for the through put. Like all European products the exchange rate is not in our favor. As far as home fueling appliances are concerned they are limited to 1 GGE. in California. At one time it was 4, some lobbing changed that.

Other VRA's out there include GasFill in England and CNG At Home in Netherlands. However, neither of these sell in USA . . . only Fuelmaker from Canada sells in USA (can you say EPA bureaucratic road-blocking!!!).

You CAN get a VRA with quicker throughput from Fuelmaker which is the fmq8-36 which could handle small fleet of several cars. I believe it fills at over 4 gge per hour. Check out Tulsa Gas Tech website as they have used one for sale at $16,000 - - - - might be great for mini CO-OP of several neighbor cng supporters to go in together for purchase. With grant money in CA, it might make good economic sense - - - especially if you had some storage like cascade of say 6 DOT tanks with 6 gge each, or 36 gge total. It CAN be done!!!

I think this is an interesting information from the Bauer Compressor Homepage:
Furthermore to date Bauer Compressors Inc., based in Norfolk, Virginia (USA), has produced more than 300 natural gas fuel stations for the North American market.

is a filling station installed on the outside also considered an appliance?
